What to Wear

Summer Casual Friday

It's Friday at 11h50. Your phone rings. It's your newest client and she's in your neighborhood. She wants to invite you to lunch to celebrate.

Your proposal has been accepted. The contract has to be signed today.

Are you dressed appropriately?

When picking your Friday Work Wear, even if you have a Casual Friday policy, always remember that we formost dress for our clients. No matter what day of the work week it is, you are a company Ambassador and what you are wearing should make sense to your clients; internal and external. It should reflect what you do for them.

Before leaving home, look into a full length mirror and ask yourself: 'Am I ready for a surprise invitation by my Boss, Ms. CEO, my Client or Mr. Minister?'

Avoid clothing, shoes and accessories for going to the beach, working out, going out, hanging out or that display violent or political images, or sayings that may offend others.

Your underwear should not be visible and remain Victoria’s Secret.

Your clothing should be clean, stain free, well adjusted, ironed and in good condition while reflecting your position, your age, the season and the time of day

Julie's Recommendation
Ladies, never go without make-up, even on Casual Fridays! According to the American Economic Review, women who wear subtle make-up earn up to 30% more than women who go without. Make-up emphasises your eyes and your mouth; your primary means of communication.
